These books, websites, ideas...have helped me. Maybe they can be of help to you too!

Rupert Sheldrake, PhD, is a biologist and the author of more than eighty-five scientific papers and twelve books including the book entitled Science and Spiritual Practices: Transformative Experiences and Their Effects on Our Bodies, Brains, and Health.

Alan Watts Organization celebrates the Life and Works of Alan Watts. Alan Watts was a scholar and philosopher (among other things) who was a very adept "translator" of Eastern wisdom for a Western audience. I find his writings and talks (which can be found on YouTube as well as the above website) to be deeply interesting, but entirely approachable. He is an amazing speaker, writer, and thinker.

Greater Reality Living founded by Mark Pitstick, MA, DC and Gary E. Schwartz, PhD is dedicated to providing an integrative foundation for expanding humanity's awareness of the greater reality -- that death of your physical body is not the end of your life.

Laura Lynne Jackson is a psychic medium and author of the New York Times bestseller The Light Between Us. Her book Signs: The Secret Language of the Universe is her newest book.

ramdass.org Love Serve Remember Foundation is dedicated to preserving and continuing the teachings of Ram Dass and his guru, Neem Karoli Baba.

helpingparentsheal.org This organization is a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting bereaved parents. They aspire to help individuals become "Shining Light Parents" meaning a shift from a state of emotional heaviness to one of hopefulness and greater peace of mind. HPH allows the open discussion of spiritual experiences and afterlife evidence in a non-dogmatic way. HPH affiliate groups welcome everyone regardless of religious or non-religious background and encourage open dialog.

HPH organization led me to Suzanne Giesemann. And they have helped me become a "Shining Light Parent!"

suzannegiesemann.com Suzanne Geisemann is a "Messenger of Hope." I wish I had discovered her sooner. She has a very interesting background story and her life took a dramatic change (as did mine) when she lost her step daughter. She is a former US Navy Commander who served as a commanding officer and aide to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Today, she provides stunning evidence of the existence of Universal Consciousness and our interconnectedness. She teaches proven methods that ANYONE can use to connect with all levels of Consciousness.

compassionatefriends.org is an organization whose mission is to offer comfort, support, hope, community when a child dies, at any age for any reason.

bereavedparentsusa.org is an organization dedicated to helping families cope after the loss of a child.

alivealone.org is an organization for the education and charitable purposes to benefit bereaved parents whose only child or all children are deceased by providing a self-help network and publications to promote communication and healing.

empathy.com is an app that provides step by step guidance through everything that comes after losing a loved one. I didn't discover it until a year or so after we lost Tom and therefore haven't used it myself. It offers guidance on wills, documents, bills, personal belongings, the house, applying for benefits, taxes...immediate arrangements including the funeral. I wish I had seen it sooner as I think it would have been helpful. I never ever had to deal with any of these things before...both my parents are alive and well. Take a look if you are just beginning the grief journey.
